**Georgia’s External Merchandise Trade Increased**

In January-November 2024, Georgia’s external merchandise trade went up by 6.6% compared to the same period in the previous year. According to data from the National Statistics Service of Georgia (Geostat), the total value of trade reached USD 21 billion.

**Exports and Imports Up**

Georgia’s exports increased by 7.9% and totaled USD 6 billion. Imports also went up, increasing by 6.1% and reaching USD 15.1 billion. The trade deficit was USD 9.1 billion, which is about 43% of the overall trade turnover.
