EU Stands with Georgia on its European Aspirations
The EU is backing Georgia’s efforts to become part of Europe. This was stated by the EU’s Defence Commissioner, Andrius Kubilius.
Kubilius spoke after meeting Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili in Strasbourg. He tweeted that he was listening carefully to her words and showed support for Georgia’s people and their goal of becoming European.
The statement from Kubilius is a sign of the EU’s commitment to helping Georgia on its path to Europe.
