Actor Bacho Kajaia spoke to the press during a protest on Rustaveli Avenue. He said that the government, known as “Georgian Dream”, is becoming stricter and more repressive.
Kajaia believes that their protests are working against the government. He pointed out that many countries do not recognize the current government. This, he says, shows that the crisis in Georgia is getting worse.
The actor listed two main demands: new elections and the release of political prisoners. He said that they will keep protesting until these demands are met.
