Georgian PM Supports US Resolution on Ukraine Conflict
The Georgian government backs the American resolution on ending the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said this in a press conference.
According to Kobakhidze, Georgia has always condemned Russia’s actions in Ukraine. Over the past three years, the country has joined over 600 documents that criticize Russia’s military aggression. This includes resolutions from various international formats that support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Georgia also supported the US resolution, which demands an end to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The resolution mourns the loss of life in the conflict but does not assign blame or make specific demands towards Russia.
The US resolution has only one co-sponsor – the Georgian government. Georgia’s relations with Moscow have improved recently.
