 The meeting of the leaders of the two main opposition political teams serves to confirm once again that our two political parties were able to fulfill the real order of society, which is an agreement and coordination for the 2025 local elections, – said Tbilisi mayoral candidate Irakli Kupradze, responding to the fact that the leaders of the political union Strong Georgia – Lelo and the party Gakharia for Georgia, Mamuka Khazaradze and Giorgi Gakharia, held a meeting.
According to him, the handshake and cooperation are yet another proof that they represent a political force that speaks about the real needs of the people and fights against the Russian regime.
“The memorandum, which we signed in good faith and with full responsibility to the citizens, has been fulfilled. We were able to agree on mayoral and majoritarian candidates throughout Georgia, nominate them, and join the fight against the Russian regime.
The handshake, cooperation, and memorandum between the two political teams Strong Georgia Lelo and Gakharia for Georgia and their leaders are yet another proof that we are the political force and team that speaks about the real needs of the people, fighting against the Russian regime on all battlefields.
I would like to thank both political leaders, two political teams for supporting my candidacy for the Tbilisi mayoralty, and I will do my best to ensure that the interests of Tbilisi residents and their support are successful, and that Ivanishvili is defeated in the capital,” Kupradze noted.
The leaders of the political union Strong Georgia – Lelo and the party Gakharia for Georgia, Mamuka Khazaradze and Giorgi Gakharia, held a meeting. The meeting was held in one of the European countries. A joint statement was also issued in this regard, stating that a memorandum was signed between their political parties regarding local elections.
