**EU Threatens to Halt Visa-Free Travel for Georgia**
The European Union is preparing a stern warning to Georgia. According to Rikard Jozwiak, Europe Editor of Radio Liberty, the EU Commission is drafting a letter that threatens to suspend visa liberalization for the country. This move would mean Georgians might no longer be able to travel to the EU without a visa.
**A Major Decision Looms**
The decision on whether to follow through with this threat will ultimately rest with the EU member states. They can make a decision using a qualified majority, which means that not all countries need to agree. This process is known as QMV, or Qualified Majority Voting.
**EU Foreign Ministers Meet Tomorrow**
The issue of Georgia’s visa liberalization status will be discussed at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels tomorrow. The agenda for the meeting also includes other topics, but the fate of Georgia’s travel privileges is likely to take center stage.
