**Europe Could Face Russian Occupation Without Ukraine’s Army, Zelensky Warns**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Europe could face a full-scale Russian occupation if Ukraine’s army were not part of the European defense system. He made this statement in an interview with The Guardian published on February 12.
**Ukraine’s Army vs. Russia and Europe**
Zelensky highlighted the disparity in forces between Russia and Europe. While Ukraine has 110 brigades, Russia has 220 and plans to increase its forces to 250 this year. In contrast, Europe, including US troops stationed there, has only about 82 combat brigades.
**Russian Expansion Plans**
Russia plans to expand its forces by 12-15 divisions, which is equivalent to around 150,000 troops, through mobilization, training, and the addition of North Korean soldiers. Zelensky warned that after this expansion, Russia could launch a full-scale invasion from Belarus.
**Warning for Europe**
Zelensky warned that without Ukraine’s army, Europe will be totally occupied by Russia if they want to. He added that Russia can invade Poland or Lithuania, not just Ukraine.
