**Ukraine’s President Postpones Saudi Arabia Visit**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has postponed his visit to Saudi Arabia. He made this announcement on February 18.
Zelensky said that he did not want any “coincidences” with the talks between Russia and the United States in Saudi Arabia. He was speaking after a meeting with Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
**US and Russia Hold Talks**
The talks in Saudi Arabia are the first direct negotiations between the US and Russia since Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with US officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
**Ukraine Not Involved in Talks**
Zelensky reiterated that no decisions about Ukraine’s future can be made without Kyiv’s involvement. He also said that he expects US officials to visit Ukraine and confirmed that Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, will arrive in Kyiv on February 19.
**No Peace Deal Without Ukraine**
The president warned against a hastily negotiated peace deal and reaffirmed that Ukraine would not accept an agreement brokered without its participation. It remains unclear how much Ukraine will be involved in future discussions between Washington and Moscow.
