**Iran to Participate in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade**
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Iranian Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Seyed Sattar Hashemi. The meeting was described as good and cordial.
The two leaders discussed ways to improve economic cooperation between their countries. They talked about using the potential for strengthening ties in areas like energy, health tourism, agriculture, and information technology.
Vucic said Iran will participate in EXPO 2027 in Belgrade. He thanked Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian for a letter confirming this participation.
The two sides also discussed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of information technology. This is expected to help develop innovative solutions in telecommunications, digital skills, and data center development.
Vucic appreciated Iran’s consistent support for Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. He said this shows that Iran respects international law.
