Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Donald Trump Jr., the son of the US president. They talked about how Serbia and the US can work together.
The Serbian president said that he emphasized the importance of economic and political ties between the two countries. He also mentioned the need for strategic cooperation and joint projects in the coming years. President Vucic described the meeting as “cordial”.
This is not the first time Donald Trump Jr. has visited Serbia. Last year, during his father’s presidential campaign, he came to Belgrade and hosted a dinner for Serbian businessmen.
The Trump-Kushner family plans to build a hotel in Serbia under the Trump brand. The hotel will be built on the site of the former General Staff building in downtown Belgrade. This is an ongoing project that has been discussed with President Vucic in the past.
President Vucic and Donald Trump Jr. agreed to work together on various projects, despite some criticism from opposition parties.
