Parliamentary Elections Not On The Agenda
Georgian Dream MP Vladimer Bozhadze says it’s time for the opposition to focus on local elections, not parliamentary ones. He made this statement in a media interview.
According to Bozhadze, the opposition should start preparing for the local self-government elections. This is because there will be no parliamentary elections held anytime soon.
He said that the opposition needs to accept that parliament will continue to function despite their losses in the last elections. The OSCE report on the last elections found that they were competitive. Bozhadze thinks that the opposition’s refusal to join parliament doesn’t change this fact.
