**Mother of Tragedy Victim Shows Support for Protesters**

A mother from Serbia has come to Belgrade to support students protesting in front of the state TV headquarters. Dijana Hrka lost her 27-year-old son, Stefan, when a concrete awning collapsed at the Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1.

**Showing Solidarity**

Hrka arrived in Belgrade early Tuesday morning to show her support for the protesters. She called them “my children” and said they keep her alive along with her younger son. Hrka came to fight for justice and to condemn the Gendarmerie’s attack on the students.

The mother also spoke out against the authorities, saying they should stop threatening and insulting young people. She wants them to respect the rights of the protesters and treat them with dignity.
