Bulgaria’s Vivacom Ranks High in Global Satellite Services
Vivacom, a leading telecommunications operator in Bulgaria, has been named one of the top five global operators for satellite services revenue growth. This is according to a report by the World Teleport Association (WTA). The company also made it into the Independent Top 10 ranking.
This achievement means that Vivacom is now considered among the world’s best in providing satellite services. Its strategy of investing in new technologies and infrastructure has helped drive growth and provide value to customers across multiple continents.
United Group, the parent company of Vivacom, is the only company in its region featured in this prestigious ranking. The group continues to strengthen its partnerships with major satellite operators and content providers.
Vivacom operates two state-of-the-art ground stations for business satellite services in Bulgaria. Two more are under construction as part of a large international project. Its Plana Teleport has the highest industry certification, confirming its status as a premier facility for satellite ground services.
The company currently broadcasts over 600 TV channels and provides connectivity across Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia, including remote locations like Antarctica. These achievements further reinforce Vivacom’s global position in satellite services.
