**US Halt Intelligence Sharing with Ukraine, Report Says**

The US has stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine, which could make it harder for the country to strike Russian targets. This is according to a report by the Financial Times on March 5.

**Why Did This Happen?**

This decision was made after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump had a public disagreement. The US then froze all military aid supplies to Ukraine. There have been conflicting claims about whether this also includes intelligence sharing, which is very important for Ukraine’s ability to strike Russian targets.

**What Does This Mean?**

Even though the US has stopped sharing time-sensitive intelligence with Ukraine, some sources say that allies who have assets inside Ukraine may still be able to share certain information. However, this will not include crucial information needed for precision strikes against moving Russian targets.

**Reactions from Leaders**

Zelensky said on March 4 that he was “regrettable” about the disagreement and reaffirmed his commitment to working towards peace under Trump’s leadership. Trump praised Zelensky’s statement in his address to Congress but did not say whether or not the US would resume military aid.

**Ukraine’s Air Defense**

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s air defense has been busy shooting down 115 drones over several regions of the country, with no casualties among civilians or law enforcement personnel. Russia claimed that their forces suffered 1,250 casualties just in the past day.
