**Russian Air Defenses Intercept 162 Ukrainian Drones in Overnight Attack**
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that its air defenses intercepted 162 Ukrainian drones in a massive overnight attack across several regions. The attacks targeted multiple cities and industrial facilities, with damage and explosions reported in at least six oblasts.
The ministry said the largest number of drones were downed over Kursk Oblast (57), followed by Belgorod (31), Lipetsk (27), Voronezh (16), Bryansk (11), Ryazan (11), Oryol (six), and Tambov (one) oblasts. Two drones were shot down over Russian-occupied Crimea.
**Ukraine Warns of Russian Recruitment in Europe**
The Ukrainian military intelligence agency warned that Russian intelligence services are actively recruiting Ukrainian nationals for illegal operations across the European Union. The agency said Kremlin-linked operatives are offering money to vulnerable Ukrainians, particularly those from Russian-occupied territories, to conduct surveillance and carry out tasks for the benefit of the Russian state.
