**President Zelensky Accuses Putin**
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Vladimir Putin of de facto rejecting a ceasefire after the drone attacks. He said that over 40 Russian drones were launched in the assault, targeting civilian infrastructure.
**Air Raids and Explosions**
Air raid sirens blared and explosions rocked Ukraine shortly after a call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin had announced that Putin had given immediate orders to cease attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
**Partial Blackouts**
Power infrastructure in Donetsk Oblast’s Slovyansk was damaged, causing partial blackouts. Zelensky confirmed the strikes targeted civilian infrastructure.
**Russian Military Action**
Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, four S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, and 145 attack and decoy drones against Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 72 drones over 12 oblasts, while 56 decoy drones disappeared from radars without causing damage.
