Medvedev, who is currently the deputy chair of Russia’s Security Council, has been known for his aggressive and apocalyptic rhetoric, often echoing Kremlin propaganda that portrays Russia as the victim of Western aggression. He recently stated that Trump’s “ultimatum game” with Moscow amounts to a threat to Russia and pushes the United States itself closer to war.
