**Trump Accuses Russia of Stealing US Hypersonic Missile Plans**
President Donald Trump has claimed that Russia stole the design for a US hypersonic missile. Speaking to Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Trump said “some bad person gave them the design.” He added that the US is developing its own super hypersonic missiles.
There is no evidence to support Trump’s claim. In fact, Russia and other countries have been developing their own hypersonic missiles for years. The US, China, India, and Russia are the only countries with such technology.
**Russia’s Hypersonic Missiles**
Russia’s Zircon missile is reported to be the fastest, with a range of 600-1,500 kilometers and a warhead weighing about 300-400 kilograms. It can travel at Mach 9 and has been used in attacks on Ukrainian cities.
The Kremlin has denied accusations that it stole hypersonic missile technology, saying they have developed their own.
**Trump’s Call for Peace**
Meanwhile, Trump expressed his desire to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine. He said he would like to explore reductions in nuclear arms and called for an immediate meeting with Putin to stop the conflict.
“I really would like to be able to meet with President Putin soon to get that war ended,” Trump said via video link at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He reiterated his readiness to meet Putin immediately, saying “Every day we don’t meet, soldiers are being killed on the battlefield.”
