The United National Movement is doing everything it can to ensure that the mechanism for temporarily suspending visa liberalization is implemented not for Georgian citizens, but only for representatives of the regime, – said the Chairperson of the National Movement, Tina Bokuchava.
In addition, as she noted, the Georgian Dream campaign “A woman is a woman and a man is a man” and “Men would marry men because of visa liberalization” failed.
“After the campaign “A woman is a woman and a man is a man” failed and when a lot of non-men were revealed in the ranks of the Russian Dream, Georgian citizens realized that this was cheap propaganda and Ivanishvili’s “trick” that they would marry someone in Europe because of visa liberalization. It also seems that they realized that propaganda about visa liberalization and talking about it at all is not profitable for them. Therefore, now they are trying not to talk about this topic. We are obliged to explain to the citizens of Georgia that, unfortunately, visa liberalization is under threat due to the steps of Ivanishvili’s Russian regime. I would like to tell you that the United National Movement is doing everything to convince our international partners to activate only the mechanism of temporary suspension of visa liberalization, not for all citizens of Georgia, but selectively and purposefully only for representatives of the regime,” – said Tina Bokuchava.
