Bokuchava said that Bidzina Ivanishvili, who leads the Georgian Dream party, wants to hide his wrongdoings by staging this investigation. He claims that his party has been in power for 13 years, but Bokuchava says they took power unfairly. She thinks the world does not recognize them as a legitimate government.
Bokuchava said that Ivanishvili’s actions are just propaganda to distract people from the real problems of Georgia. The country is suffering because of sanctions and its economy is in trouble. She believes that new, fair elections should be held so that the country can move forward and not look at past mistakes.
