Ivanishvili’s regime does not intend to fulfill the conditions of the European Commission, the threat of losing the visa-free regime is real, so we are working with the countries of the “Weimar Triangle” to find ways to exert pressure in a way that does not harm Georgian citizens, – said the chairwoman of the National Movement, Tina Bokuchava.
According to her, the main task is to find a form of external pressure, along with strengthening internal pressure, where Georgian citizens will not be harmed.
“The Ivanishvili regime does not intend to fulfill any of the conditions imposed by the European Commission. This is utopian and, accordingly, focusing on this is completely unjustified. The threat of losing the visa-free regime is completely real. We are working very actively with the EU member states, especially the countries of the “Weimar Triangle” – Germany, France, Poland, so that Georgian citizens do not lose this benefit and to find another way to put pressure on the Ivanishvili regime. This is our main task today – along with strengthening internal pressure, to find a form of external pressure where Georgian citizens are not harmed,” said Tina Bokuchava.
