**Border Tension with Belarus Persists**

According to Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, there are currently no changes in the situation at the border with Belarus. However, Ukraine is actively strengthening its defense and fortifications in this area.
**Belarus’ Support for Russia**
The situation at the border with Belarus is tense because Belarus continues to support Russia. Demchenko said that Belarus has units stationed near the border, although their number is small. He believes that these units are positioned towards Ukraine, suggesting that Belarus expects a threat from Ukraine.
In its statements, Belarus shifts the responsibility to Ukraine and forgets that it was Belarus that opened the border for Russian troops who invaded Ukrainian territory, Demchenko added.
**Ukraine’s Defense**
Despite the current calm at the border with Belarus, Ukraine continues to prepare for potential threats. The State Border Guard Service is strengthening its defenses in engineering and fortification terms. Intelligence units from both the State Border Guard Service and the Ministry of Defense are monitoring the situation and analyzing possible threats.
There are no Russian units or forces in Belarus that could form a strike group for an invasion into Ukraine, Demchenko said.
