New Commission to Study Georgia’s Past Government
A commission has been formed in the Georgian Parliament to look into the actions of the government and its officials from 2003 to 2012.
The commission will be made up of ten members. Some of them have already been chosen. They are:
* Tea Tsulukiani, Aleksandre Tabatadze, Tengiz Sharmanashvili, Aluda Gudushauri, and Paata Salia from the “Georgian Dream” party.
* Sozar Subari and Guram Macharashvili from the “People’s Power” party.
* Ilia Injia from the “European Socialists”.
Two more members are needed. They will come from the “For Georgia” party.
The commission’s job is to investigate how the government worked during that time period.
