**Prosecutor’s Office Charges Suspect in Levan Jangveladze Murder**
The Prosecutor’s Office has brought charges against the suspect arrested for the murder of Levan Jangveladze on Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi. The suspect, Gela Udzilauri, is accused of aggravated murder and the illegal acquisition, possession, and carrying of a firearm.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs found that Udzilauri fired multiple shots at Levan Jangveladze and another person in a crowded area on March 14. As a result, Jangveladze died from his injuries, while the other person was taken to hospital.
**Charges and Sentence**
Udzilauri has been charged under Article 19-109 of the Georgian Criminal Code, which carries a sentence of 16 to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment. He is also accused of violating Article 236 of the code, which relates to the illegal acquisition, possession, and carrying of a firearm.
**Next Steps**
The Prosecutor’s Office will now file a motion with the court requesting pretrial detention for Udzilauri. The investigation into the case is ongoing, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
