**Pro-Regime Editor Hits Journalist**
A tabloid editor in Serbia hit a journalist on the street, but won’t face charges. The incident happened on May 29, 2024, in Belgrade.
Milan Ladjevic, editor of Srpski Telegraf, attacked Vuk Cvijic from Radar magazine. A video shows Ladjevic hitting Cvijic with his fist and pushing him to the ground. But the First Basic Prosecutor’s Office said it wasn’t a crime.
The prosecutor’s office looked at the evidence and decided that the attack didn’t meet the criteria for a criminal offense. Ladjevic denied doing anything wrong, saying what happened was different from what others saw.
Ladjevic is known to be pro-regime, which means he supports the current government in Serbia. The attack on Cvijic was reported by several media outlets, including Nova.rs and Radar magazine.
