Today was supposed to be the day that the so-called deputies in the Abkhazian parliament would ratify a project for an investment agreement between Sokhumi (the capital of Abkhazia) and Moscow. However, the deputies failed to approve the agenda, and as a result, the session did not take place.

The protesters are demanding that the “deputies” hold a meeting and vote against the project.
