Sweden and Georgia’s friendship group breaks off talks.
The Sweden-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group has stopped working with the Georgian Parliament. This decision was made by Swedish MP Gustav Gottberg, who announced it on a social media platform called X.
Gottberg said that the group doesn’t agree with how Georgia’s new president was chosen. They think this was not against the law. The group is now calling for new elections in Georgia.
