**Student Rejects Presidential Pardon**
A law student from Novi Sad has refused a pardon offered by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Mihailo Mladenovic said he did not want to accept the pardon because it was not what protesters had asked for.
The president pardoned 13 people, including six university students. But Mladenovic said that none of them had asked for mercy from the president.
**Students Proud of Their Protest**
Mladenovic spoke about the student protests and marches in Novi Sad. He said that his generation has shown great solidarity and has helped to bring back human values that were thought to be lost.
The students have been demanding justice and social progress. Mladenovic said that their demand was technically met, but not in the way they had asked for.
**Rejection of Pardon**
Mladenovic rejected the pardon because he wanted to prove his innocence in a judicial process. He was accused of participating in riots during a protest on November 5 in Novi Sad. But no evidence was ever presented to support these charges.
