**Emergency Vehicles Prepare for Ukraine Trip**

A group of 12 emergency vehicles, headed to Ukraine, took part in a special drive around the famous Silverstone race track. The drivers and volunteers completed four laps of the track as a way to mark their big trip.

The vehicles are being sent by the organization Driving Ukraine, which has been helping with frontline efforts since the war started. The group has already provided over 150 vehicles for Ukraine.

**A Big Send-Off**

On Thursday, 28 volunteers will drive the 12 vehicles and £250,000 worth of aid to the western city of Lviv. This is one of the biggest trips the group has organized so far.

Fynn Watt, who set up Driving Ukraine three years ago, said the experience was “unbelievable”. He’s been coming to Silverstone since he was four.

**Celebrating a Milestone**

The organization is also celebrating a big milestone – £1m raised since its inception. Operations manager Jacob Simpson said this was “phenomenal” and would help save lives in Ukraine.

Mr. Simpson has already been on several missions to Lviv, where the vehicles will be used. He described the city as feeling normal at first, but then hearing air raid sirens or seeing military uniforms reminded him of the war.

**Why They Do It**

The group’s focus is on helping people in need during a difficult time. Fynn Watt said that despite the challenges, they’re keeping the people they’re helping firmly in mind.

“We’re doing it for those people,” he said.
