“It’s Monday, a tough day, and it seems they’re skipping work today as well—also, they lost one deputy along the way who announced their intention to leave parliament,” said Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, commenting on the start of parliamentary activities by deputies from the “Gakharia – For Georgia” party during a bureau meeting.
Papuashvili noted that they will have all the necessary conditions for parliamentary work. He expressed hope that the deputies from “Gakharia – For Georgia” will attend tomorrow’s parliamentary session.
“They’ve gone through a difficult journey. Let’s see how they engage in parliamentary activities. They will have the opportunity to use all the tools provided by the regulations that are available to parliament members. I met with Shalva Kereselidze, a member of the previous convocation of parliament, and we discussed these technical matters. The parliament’s administration is in contact with them and will ensure they have a proper working environment,” Papuashvili stated.
