According to Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, a verdict has been passed today on the fourth individual related to a “Molotov cocktail,” which, in his words, once again demonstrates the scale of extremism observed during the demonstrations.
He stated that the fact that other individuals dared to engage in similar actions following Lazare Grigoriadis is “entirely on Brussels’ conscience.”
“Today, a verdict was passed on the fourth person related to a ‘Molotov cocktail,’ which once again confirms the scale of extremism we witnessed during last year’s violent demonstrations.
It is hard not to see the connection between the growing number of pyromaniacs and the ‘I Threw It’ campaign promoting ‘Molotov cocktails,’ which was funded by the European Union.
The fact that someone else dared to pick up a ‘Molotov cocktail’ after Lazare Grigoriadis is entirely on Brussels’ conscience, which declared burning a person or property as a peaceful and legitimate form of protest.
The EU Ambassador cannot escape this responsibility until he publicly and clearly distances himself from the production and throwing of petrol bombs in the name of the European Union.
It is truly shameful that Brussels equates the European Union with violence,” writes Shalva Papuashvili.
Shalva Papuashvili: A verdict has now been delivered against a fourth person in connection with the “Molotov cocktail” – the fact that after Lazare Grigoriadis someone else still dared to take a “Molotov cocktail” in hand lies entirely on Brussels’ conscience
