**Ukraine Dismantles Russian Spy Network**

The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has reported that it has dismantled a Russian spy network tasked with gathering intelligence on Ukrainian aircraft. The operation was conducted near a military airfield and led to the arrest of two agents.

**Spying on F-16 Jets**

The SBU said that the two agents, aged 22 and 21, were caught photographing a Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet during takeoff. They had been recruited by a female officer from Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) to gather detailed information on military airfields housing F-16 jets and helicopters.

**Mission to Gather Intelligence**

The agents planned to travel across five regions of Ukraine, using public transportation and renting short-term accommodations near airfields for espionage purposes. Their mission was to collect geolocation and photographic evidence, which would help Russia adjust its missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian aviation facilities.

**Preventing Data Transfer**

The SBU said that it had intercepted and documented the agents’ reconnaissance efforts at an early stage, preventing any successful data transfer. The suspects were detained while photographing an F-16 jet and now face life imprisonment on treason charges.
