**Georgia’s President Praises Protesters on 100th Day**
Tomorrow marks a big milestone for protesters in Georgia: 100 days of peaceful demonstrations. The country’s president, Salome Zurabishvili, is proud of their strength and resilience.
In a message on Facebook, Zurabishvili said that the country is divided into two groups. One side is made up of people who use hate speech, insults, and violence to try and silence protesters. The other side stands for dignity, solidarity, and love.
She noted that many people expected the cold winter weather to stop the protests. But instead, spring has arrived, and the demonstrations continue.
**A Victory Already**
Zurabishvili said that standing firm for 100 days is a major achievement in itself. She compared it to Russia’s use of harsh winters to try and win wars, but Georgia’s protesters have outlasted them.
The president also talked about the division within society. On one side are those who use repression, hate speech, and violence against protesters. On the other side are people who stand for dignity, solidarity, love, and faith in their country.
**A Living Society**
Zurabishvili said that the final victory will come from this difference between the two sides. As a period of fasting, forgiveness, and repentance begins, she noted that authorities have chosen to intensify repression and keep innocent people behind bars.
Despite these efforts, the city remains strong and united. The president is proud of their resilience and believes that standing firm for 100 days is already a victory.
