**European Council Demands New Elections in Georgia**
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, is celebrating a major victory for the country. The European Council has adopted a resolution that calls for new elections in Georgia and the release of political prisoners.
In response to this decision, President Zurabishvili said on social media: “The dreaming time for Georgian Dream is over! The European Council has embraced the people’s demand and turned it into a kind of ultimatum.”
**A Message to the Ruling Party**
The resolution adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) also calls for an end to police violence and for a date to be set for parliamentary elections. President Zurabishvili sees this as a warning to the ruling party, saying they have three months to meet these demands.
**A Tribute to Mzia Amaglobeli**
The president dedicated her victory to Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of Batumelebi, and to all prisoners of conscience. She congratulated everyone who contributed to collecting evidence of violations and crimes in the country.
