**Partisan Strike Hits Russian Drone Crew in Kherson Oblast**

Russian troops thought they had found a safe haven near a civilian yard in the temporarily occupied Henichesk district of Kherson Oblast. But partisans from the Atesh pro-Ukrainian movement were waiting for them.

The partisans, who have been operating in the region since September 2022, claimed to have developed a network of agents within the Russian military. They also offer training courses on how to disable Russian equipment.

**Sabotage Operation**

According to intelligence, the partisans targeted a Russian military vehicle used for drone control. The vehicle was equipped with electronic warfare (EW) systems and belonged to a group of drone operators.

The occupiers had been using the camouflage tactic, hiding their equipment in civilian yards and disguising it as non-military. But this time, the plan backfired. As soon as the soldiers returned from their mission and parked the vehicle near their temporary shelter, the partisans struck.

**No Human Casualties**

Fortunately for the occupiers, no one was hurt during the sabotage operation. However, losing their equipment will be a significant blow to the Russian forces. They are already struggling with an acute shortage of gear, making it difficult for them to resume operations.

**Calmer Skies Ahead?**

Residents of the Ukrainian-controlled part of Kherson Oblast can breathe a little easier knowing that the skies will be calmer. The successful sabotage operation is a testament to the effectiveness of the partisan movement in disrupting Russian activities.

**Partisan Activity on the Rise**

Serhii Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, noted that Russian troops are increasingly disappearing without a trace in southern Ukraine. This phenomenon affects not only the active combat zone but also the rear areas, where occupiers are suddenly “evaporating.” There were no reported clashes, raising suspicions of Ukrainian partisan activity or desertions from demoralized units.

**Partisans’ Message**

Atesh, the pro-Ukrainian movement behind the sabotage operation, issued a statement saying, “We’re watching. We’re nearby. And we will strike again.”
