**Russian Forces Changing Tactics in Sumy Region**

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have reported a change in tactics by Russian forces in the northern part of Sumy region. Instead of using large groups, the enemy is now trying to use small infantry units.

According to Vadym Mysnyk, spokesperson for the operational-tactical grouping of forces “Siversk”, this change in tactics depends on the season. However, currently, the focus is on combat activity. The enemy is using small infantry groups to attack Ukrainian positions.

**Ukrainian Defense Forces Responding**

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are responding to these changes by using their full range of available weaponry against the invaders. Mysnyk explained that sabotage and reconnaissance groups (RSGs) in the north are constantly active, but there have been no attempts to advance into the Chernihiv region since the beginning of the year.

**Equipment and Combat Activity**

Regarding military equipment, Mysnyk reported that Russian forces are in a poor situation. Their attempts to approach the border with small assault groups are detected and destroyed before they reach Ukrainian territory.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) has also confirmed this change in tactics, stating that the enemy is now using small assault groups along the border with Sumy region.
