**Russia Makes Deal Offer to US on Natural Resources**
Russia is offering the Trump administration a deal on Russian natural resources and access to the Arctic, according to The Moscow Times. This offer was made by Kirill Dmitriev, one of the Russian delegates in recent Saudi Arabia talks.
**High-Level Meeting Between Russia and US**
A high-level meeting took place between Russian and US delegations led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and State Secretary Marco Rubio, respectively. This is the highest-level meeting between the two sides since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
**Economic Cooperation Discussed**
The Russian and US delegates in Riyadh discussed economic cooperation, including global energy prices. Moscow suggested that American oil companies may return to the country and is interested in joint projects with the US in the Arctic.
**Ukraine Rejects Proposed Deal on Natural Resources**
Kyiv announced it is not ready to sign the U.S.-proposed deal on Ukraine’s natural resources. President Volodymyr Zelensky commented that Ukraine is open to investment but argued that the memorandum needs more work as it does not include any concrete security guarantees.
**Russia Seeks Unfreezing of Assets**
Russia also expects the US to unfreeze Russian state assets, including those owned by the Central Bank, which were previously invested in American ones. The assets are valued at about $6 billion.
