**Serbian State TV Correspondents Refuse to Cover President Vucic’s Events**
A group of journalists from the Serbian state TV (RTS) bureau in Novi Sad have decided not to cover any events involving President Aleksandar Vucic. This decision was made as a show of solidarity with their fellow correspondents in Nis.
The reason for this boycott is that President Vucic recently insulted one of the female reporters from the Nis RTS bureau, calling her an “imbecile”. This happened after she reported on a mass protest in southern Serbia. The president later apologized for his words but questioned the objectivity of the NIS RTS correspondents.
Milan Srdic, a journalist with the RTS Novi Sad bureau, said that they will not cover President Vucic’s events unless he apologizes properly. This decision was reported by the Serbian Journalists’ Association (UNS).
