Don’t be afraid, get angry; don’t look for someone to blame, look for a solution – empty words won’t achieve anything, physical struggle is needed, reads the letter from Rezo Kiknadze, who was detained during the protests near the Parliament.
According to Kiknadze, he “has no hope left” that “Georgian Dream” will be removed, as “we bicker among ourselves instead of directing all our anger where it belongs.”
“For me, the most terrible part of the population is those who climb onto a moral pedestal and point fingers, asking why you threw something at the Russian servants. We are at war, and war doesn’t happen with bare hands or by standing in one place. Everyone must arm themselves for the fight and leave their homes with the mindset of sacrificing themselves to defend the country from these masked sellouts.
We didn’t break into any buildings, and we’re not breaking in—we are trying to take back the buildings that belong to us. But let’s do it with a unified mindset.
Attack, and only attack.
The ball is on their side, and we have a goal to score; that ball belongs to us, not them. So let’s take back what they’ve stolen.
The spineless and treacherous government itself paves the way for revolution, anarchy, and rebellion – everyone should know this. Let’s confront the enemy as enemies.
If you go out just to catch the metro, nothing will come of it, friends; in that case, don’t go out at all. If you don’t go out today, don’t blame anyone or anything later – you have no right to.
Don’t be afraid, get angry; don’t look for someone to blame, look for a solution.
When Zodelava stayed until the end, standing alone in front of the Parliament while people had gone home, it’s a bit frustrating to point fingers at him and blame him for something.
Come out in hundreds of thousands today, and don’t talk to me about peace with them. Personally, I have no hope left that we’ll get rid of them, as we bicker among ourselves instead of directing all this anger where it belongs. Even in the face of hopelessness, I would go out every day to fight there. Convince me I’m wrong.
The only thing I criticize the so-called organizers for is that they didn’t distribute equipment, shields, high-quality gas masks, and tools to the rally participants that could break through their shields and armor. How are we supposed to be there with bare hands while they are fully prepared in every way?
Huge thanks to the journalists – you all make me proud.
Solidarity with everyone who was detained yesterday.
P.S. And to those who call the fighters provocateurs, some of you are just pitiful. Come down from that moral pedestal and look at the situation practically.
Empty words won’t achieve anything; physical struggle is needed,” Kiknadze writes.
