China strongly rejected the US ambassador’s accusations. The Chinese deputy UN Ambassador, Geng Shuang, said that Beijing was not involved in the war and had strict controls on dual-use materials. He also told the US to stop blaming China for the Ukraine conflict and instead try to help find a peaceful solution.

This exchange comes after reports emerged about Chinese drone engines being secretly sent to Russia, avoiding Western sanctions.
