**Residents Block Road in Serbia**
Residents from five villages near the city of Leskovac in southern Serbia blocked a regional road with tractors on Monday. They are unhappy about waiting 15 years for a bridge over the South Morava River to be finished.
The villagers say they have been asking for the bridge for over a decade, but nothing has happened. Instead, people in charge have become wealthy and built homes and apartments abroad.
The protesters took control of a busy road that connects to a new highway. They said only buses and ambulances would be allowed through. The villagers are planning daily two-hour blockades until the bridge is completed.
This is not just about a bridge – it’s about fairness and justice for the people who live in these villages.
