**Rescuers Killed in Kyiv While Responding to Russian Attack**
A devastating incident has occurred in Kyiv, Ukraine, where three rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES) lost their lives while working under fire to help people affected by a Russian attack. The news was reported by 24 Kanal, citing Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
According to the minister, Russian missiles and drones intentionally targeted civilian and critical infrastructure in Kyiv on June 6. Despite the ongoing shelling, emergency services, including SES and police, responded promptly to every call for help. Unfortunately, three SES rescuers, Pavlo Yezgor, Danylo Skadin, and Andriy Remennyi, lost their lives while attempting to assist people.
Minister Klymenko stated that the rescuers were working under ongoing shelling to eliminate the consequences of enemy strikes. Nine other emergency workers were injured, with some sustaining serious injuries. Doctors are fighting for their lives. In addition, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire in the Ternopil region.

Minister Klymenko paid tribute to the fallen heroes, describing them as brave and loyal to the oath, devoted to the cause of rescue. He wished a speedy recovery to the wounded. The State Emergency Service also expressed their condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased, calling them “people who were the first to rush to eliminate the consequences of the terrible strike.”

The Russian attack on June 6 resulted in three civilian casualties across Ukraine, with about 40 people injured. Minister Klymenko emphasized that the price of resistance is life itself, but the strength lies in the people who hold the country together while risking their lives.
