Unofficial reports claim that the Georgian Dream party has already decided to hand over its management to Kobakhidze.
According to reports, the party will hold its political council in the next few days, at which the new chairman of the party will be elected.
Bidzina ivanishvili has resigned as the chairman of Georgian Dream and left the political scene. He addressed the public today with an open letter regarding his decision.
