The Georgian ruling regime has detained Elene Khoshtaria, the leader of the opposition party “Droa,” and the Ivanishvili regime has crossed all boundaries, wrote European Parliament member Rasa Juknevičienė on the social platform X.
According to her, EU member states must take action.
“EU member states must act; we need sanctions now!” the European Parliament member wrote.
For context, on September 14, Elene Khoshtaria wrote “Russian Dream” on a banner at Kaka Kaladze’s election headquarters. She shared a video of the act on social media, stating that it was her way of expressing solidarity with Megi Diasamidze, who was detained a few days earlier for damaging Kaka Kaladze’s election banner.
