The policy of the European bureaucracy has led Europe to a rather difficult situation and serious trends, they need to reconsider their policy, – Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
As Irakli Kobakhidze noted, Europe still maintains, including the level of prosperity that was created on the basis of 70 years of uninterrupted peace throughout Europe, but the trends are extremely worrying.
According to the head of government, they are trying to artificially sever ties with a country such as Georgia, for example.
“The EU’s share in the world economy was 30 percent in 2008, and this share has dropped to 17 percent. When you have such a difficult situation and such difficult trends, you should be focused on solving your own problems, as well as on developing relations as much as possible, although against this background we see that they are not trying to develop relations and cooperation, but on the contrary, they are trying to artificially sever ties with a country such as Georgia. This is not in the objective interests of the EU, and from this it can be seen that the European bureaucracy is governed from beginning to end by the dictates of external forces, and not by the dictates of the interests of the European community.
The European bureaucracy is qualitatively under the influence of external forces, this is the “deep state”. The influence of the “deep state” has weakened in the US, but the focus has shifted to the EU, and the fact that Marta Kos is not coming to Georgia is a continuation of this. I once again express my hope that as soon as the war in Ukraine ends, these approaches will change. From our side, we can once again express our full readiness to reset relations with the European Union. We are completely open, although we see Soviet approaches on their side, closed-door policy, not to mention non-communication, these are completely Soviet approaches, which must be corrected,” said Irakli Kobakhidze.
