**Serbian Opposition Meets with EU Representative**

Representatives of the opposition in Serbia met with Tonino Picula, a representative from the European Parliament. The meeting was held on Tuesday in Belgrade.
The opposition leaders talked to Picula about the problems in Serbia. They said that the country needs to resolve its crisis quickly, or it could get worse. One of them, Miroslav Aleksic, suggested setting up a temporary government as a way to solve the problem.
Picula is trying to gather information so he can write an objective report on Serbia for the European Parliament. His report will be presented in May this year.
The opposition said that they want fair and democratic elections, freedom of the media, and working institutions. They believe that a temporary government would help with all these things.
They also mentioned that the police are investigating some organizations in Serbia, which makes their situation even more difficult. The opposition leaders think that Serbia’s membership in the European Union is being hindered by this crisis.
The meeting was an important moment, especially because it comes after the arrest of some opposition councilors in Novi Sad.
