**Journalists Demand Changes at Serbia’s State TV**
Staff at the state-run Radio Television Vojvodina (RTV) have signed a petition. They want changes to how the station is run.
The journalists are demanding that the RTV follows Serbian laws and rules. This includes reporting in an honest way, as stated in the Journalists’ Code. The staff also want access for student protesters and their supporters on TV shows.
They are unhappy with the current editor-in-chief, Nenad Cacic. They want him to go, along with his closest helpers. Anyone who has spread false information since a concrete awning collapsed at Novi Sad Railway Station in November 2024 should be punished.
**Consequences if Demands Not Met**
If these demands are not met, the journalists will take action. This could include resigning or going to regulatory bodies for help. If that doesn’t work, they might even break the rules of civil disobedience.
