**Serbian Opposition Parties Block EXPO 2027 Site**
Two Serbian opposition parties, Novi DSS and POKS, blocked the entrance to a construction site of the EXPO 2027 in Belgrade on Thursday.
The officials parked their cars at the entrance to the site in the suburb of Surcin. They said this is part of a resistance against the government.
Novi DSS leader Milos Jovanovic said the EXPO site represents corruption and the government’s wrongdoings. He wants a transitional government to be set up so that free and democratic elections can take place.
