**Russia’s Missile Strikes Leave Trail of Destruction Across Kyiv**

The city of Kyiv has been hit hard by a combined attack from Russian strike UAVs, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The result is a trail of destruction across the city, with over 30 locations affected.

In the Solomianskyi District, a drone strike targeted a dormitory, causing damage to the 4th and 5th floors. A missile also hit a residential building, leaving rescue operations and debris removal in progress. Other buildings in the area were also damaged, including a boarding school, an auto repair shop, and multiple non-residential zones.

The Sviatoshynskyi District was not spared either, with a drone strike causing significant damage to a 12-story building and setting off fires in a nearby area.

**Multiple Districts Affected**

In addition to Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts, other areas were also targeted. The Darnytskyi District saw damage to a lyceum and kindergarten, as well as a 20-story residential building. Railway infrastructure was also hit, with multiple buildings damaged.

The Podilskyi District reported falling debris from downed targets, but preliminary reports indicate minimal damage. The Obolonskyi District saw a private car damaged by falling debris, while the Shevchenkivskyi District experienced fires and window damage.

**Emergency Response Underway**

Emergency responders have been working tirelessly to contain fires and clear debris. Over 10,000 square meters of fires were localized and extinguished, with ongoing efforts including roof coverage and removal of construction rubble.

Humanitarian aid stations are active in three districts, with municipal crews from less-affected areas deployed to assist.

**Casualties Reported**

As of 2:00 PM, 114 people were injured, with 68 hospitalized. Unfortunately, 17 people have been confirmed killed, including four identified fatalities and more than 13 additional bodies pending identification. Missing persons are also being reported following the missile strike on a residential building in Solomianskyi.

**Details of Russian Attack Revealed**

According to Colonel Yuriy Ignat, head of the Air Force Communications Department, Russia launched 440 UAVs at night, with 280 designated as “Shaheeds”. The massive number of drones surrounded Kyiv from different sides, leading to the severe consequences seen today.

A cruise missile also hit a residential building in Kyiv, adding to the destruction.
