A group of judges in the city of Novi Sad have signed a petition in support of protesting students. The students have been blocking university faculties across Serbia for weeks, demanding answers about an incident at Novi Sad train station.
On November 5th, a concrete canopy collapsed on a platform, killing 15 people. The students want someone to be held accountable for this tragedy.
In just a few hours, 38 judges from different courts signed the petition. They also called for restraint and peaceful protests, saying that high school and university students are the future of society.
